I’ve been challenged recently to share some of the things God has been placing on my heart, in the hope that they might encourage someone else and, in some small way, help build up the Body of Christ.
So here I am, feeling very aware of my own limitations, but wanting to be obedient in sharing some of the whispers, lessons and truths I feel God drawing my attention to through the Bible, prayer and the everyday journey of walking with Him. We are all learning, growing and being shaped by Him and certainly don’t have everything worked out. My prayer is simply that, somewhere amongst these words, there may be something that helps you keep your eyes fixed on Him, your heart close to Him, and your walk with Him full of joy. Please always weigh what is written and allow God to lead you. Something may speak deeply to you at one point and not at all at another. It may not be for every one or for every season you are in. If something here is not for you, please feel completely free to lay it aside. My hope is never to add another burden, but simply to encourage you into greater freedom, deeper faith, growing love and closer intimacy with Him.
More than anything, I pray that God Himself would speak to you and guide you towards whatever will strengthen your walk with Him. That He would release you more fully into all that He has called you to be and to do, in your ministry to Him and in your love for others. May your love continue to grow. May your roots go deeper into Him. And may your life bear fruit in abundance, for His glory.
